Teachers' teaching development sub center of Ocean University held a seminar on application skills of undergraduate education and teaching reform

On the afternoon of October 29, the teaching development sub center of Ocean University organized a sharing meeting on the application skills of undergraduate education and teaching reform. Cao Guangxiang, a teacher from the teaching research and evaluation center of the Academic Affairs Office of Ocean University, was invited to share the application ideas and writing skills of the teaching reform topic, quality engineering and teaching achievement award with the teachers of Ocean University Based on the relevant situation of undergraduate education and teaching reform.

Cao pointed out that at present, the core idea of undergraduate education and teaching reform is student-centered goal orientation, emphasizing a continuous improvement. When applying for various education and teaching reform related topics, the topics should focus on hot spots, difficulties and novel topics. The argument should tell a good story and explain clearly what is the current situation, what is the problem, what can be done and how to do it. The implementation plan shall indicate the focus areas, objectives to be achieved, specific measures to solve problems, and expected results or benefits.

After the meeting, the participating teachers expressed that through this sharing meeting, they had improved their understanding of higher education teaching reform and enriched the vision and skills of applying for teaching reform projects. (picture / Wen Jiaqi)
